During the special Pride edition of Rooftop Cinema (running from July the 31st till August the 6th) the movie programme is curated by Kriterion. Kriterion is a unique movie theater in Amsterdam East that is run exclusively by students (and a cat). Ever since the theater was founded in the 1940s, by former members of the resistance, Kriterion has been providing the city with a cutting-edge cinema programme. For this occasion they handpicked a very eclectic selection of queer movies. So donβt hesitate: grab a ticket, lift off to the seventh floor of Volkshotel, get a bite and a cocktail, and enjoy one of the movie screenings π
