DOKA STUDIO NYE 2023 | Lost Groove w/ Parris | Michelle Manetti
Lost Groove is descending down to the basement for the final dance of the ‘23 (or the first of ’24?). Residents Retromigration and DJ Pointless will share the decks of the spaceship booth with none other than Parris and Michelle Manetti.
Michelle Manetti blossomed from being an underage clubber in the late 90’s UK Rave scene, into a well-loved and well-respected DJ and stalwart of East London’s Queer scene. With over 20 years of DJ-ing under her belt, it’s safe to say she’s no novice to the decks, with the passion, skill, panache and record collection of a well-established and well-refined DJ. Parris is another force to be recknowned with. With an experimental ear honed at the crucial parties, labels and record shops of the 2010s, the Hackney-born artist has cultivated a genre-fluid style that plugs sound system pressure into misty dubscapes, pulsating house and fragments of pop glitz.
